Crew list

The digital crew list is made available on a PC, tablet or mobile for the HSE officer.

With a few keystrokes, you will be able to share your crew list with the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority's inspector or a colleague. The solution also provides the opportunity to set up a separate dashboard with the details you need.

You get a full overview of people that are, or have been, inside the construction area and those that are inside the tunnel. If the tunnel is divided into zones, you will also be able to see the location of the people inside the tunnel.

Easy setup

Users register themselves the first time they swipe the HMS card in the card reader and a user is created in the system. If a mobile number is entered, the MySafety app can be used.

Unlawful entry

Crew list can be expanded with a solution for tracking people and machines with a link to the CCTV system.

The solution, which has been named Ulawful entry detects movement so that the people in the area can be verified against tracking data, and thus control the light signal out in the field. To be verified, you must have a valid RFID tag.

The aim is to ensure that people that passes without wearing tracking devices, are captured by cameras and that this is notified for follow-up. When the light is green, the tracking chip is registered.

The app is developed in collaboration with our customers. This ensures a simple and good solution.


All users gain access to app check-in/out, historical data and much more.

Assisted check-in/out

In the app, users can choose to use assisted check-in and check-out based on GPS location and Geofence.


If you have not checked in during normal working hours, you will receive a friendly reminder in the app.

RFID tracking

Knowing where people and machines are located is useful and absolutely essential in an emergency situation. It is also required by law.

RFID tracking is based on radio signals for tracking and access control of personnel and vehicles, both on and underground. All you need is a receiver and small radio chips with transmitters integrated into work clothing and mounted on machines. This way you get a full overview.

Modular system

The system for RFID tracking can be easily expanded with additional modules, manual alarm points and units for alarm signals.

RFID receiver

Effera's safety cabinet is installed in the tunnel mouth. It picks up signals from the RFID tags of individuals and machines that enter and exit the tunnel. Multiple safety cabinets can be installed in order to section the tunnel and improve the precision of location specification.

RFID tags

The small and rough RFID chips can be built into a helmet or integrated into other safety equipment used. They can also be mounted on machines and equipment. The chips come with up to 10 years of battery life.

4G coverage in tunnels

Safe and stable communication via a high-speed wireless network, connected to the internet.

In collaboration with Telia, we deliver temporary 4G coverage in tunnels during production. We have the necessary equipment in stock and can provide coverage within four to six weeks. The solution assumes that there is available and sufficient 4G coverage at the construction site.

We establish a wireless network (WLAN) in the tunnel that makes it possible to be just as digital and connected as you want.

Fire alarm

Safe solution for reporting and warning of fire in tunnels.

Our RFID tracking modules can be expanded with a fire warning system that contains a manual notification button, as well as a combined siren and flash light for notifying people inside the tunnel of a fire alarm. It is possible to connect a fire alarm unit to each RFID module. These are connected in a common network so that all detectors will be activated in the event of a fire alarm.

Alarm status

When the fire detector is activated in the tunnel, this will be visible in the Effera Insight application by changing it to alarm mode. Here you will also find information on the detector that has been triggered, get an updated overview of people that are inside the tunnel, and also an option to print an emergency report. It is possible to manually start the fire alarm in the tunnel via the application.

Plug’n Play Card reader

The card reader is ready for use as soon as the power is connected. It communicates over the mobile network and is delivered ready to install with a SIM card and data usage included.

The card reader is easily mounted with the fixing holes. It is robust and built for Nordic conditions. Personnel register entry and exit to facilities using their approved HSE card and the info screen provides immediate feedback with status color and text. Easily connected to unlock the door or gate so that only valid cards enter the facility. Possibility of connecting a slave unit for a cost-effective solution for two-way entry / exit through a door or gate.
